Our office opened in Worcester in 2009 to provide a high-quality, but affordable service to businesses and individuals in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
The office is managed by our principal Vaughan Barnacle, a chartered accountant with over 13 years' experience. He has worked in general practice for ten years, gaining a wide and varied knowledge base. He has worked with many different types of business, from PLCs to sole traders. He holds the Institute's audit qualification, but specialises in small to medium-sized businesses.
He has also spent time working in industry, which gives him a valuable insight into how businesses actually operate on a day to day basis. This knowledge enables Anchorage to provide you with relevant as well as sympathetic advice and support.
Vaughan will oversee all the work done on your behalf, and you are assured of the highest levels of professional care at all times.
We are a young, forward-thinking practice, constantly looking for new ways to improve the service we provide. We are proudly independent and will not try to sell you any accountancy or business software. Where appropriate however, we will offer advice and guidance on suitable systems if we think it will bring genuine improvements.
Finally, we believe there is more to a good accountant than knowledge, experience, and an ability with numbers - character and personality are just as important. We do our best not to conform to the grey accountancy stereotype.
